WHAT IS THEMORPHIC FIELD?
The theory of morphic fields
.
The theory of morphic fields is a fascinating and ground-breaking idea introduced by the British biologist Rupert Sheldrake in the 1980s.
It represents a challenge to conventional scientific views on the nature of reality and offers a new perspective on understanding the formation of form, memory and learning in living organisms. It describes an invisible field that connects everything and contains information that extends beyond space and time.
Origin of the theory
.
Rupert Sheldrake, a biologist with a strong interest in the development of plants and animals, was dissatisfied with existing explanations of how organisms develop their characteristic forms and pass on behavioural patterns across generations. Conventional science could not fully explain how genetic information alone controls the complex processes of morphogenesis (shape formation). In his book ‘A New Science of Life’, published in 1ç81, Sheldrake presented his theory of morphic fields, which attempts to close these gaps.
The theory of morphic fields is based on the assumption that, in addition to known physical fields such as gravitational and electromagnetic fields, there are also fields that control the patterns of organisation in biological systems. These morphic fields contain a kind of memory, based on previous forms and behaviours, which is transmitted through the principle of morphic resonance.
Sheldrake argues that similar patterns of activity influence each other across space and time, creating a collective memory that can be accessed by individuals of the same species.
Summary
Rupert Sheldrake’s theory of morphic fields offers a radical new approach to understand learning, memory and morphogenetic evolution in nature. By introducing the concept of morphic fields and morphic resonance, Sheldrake attempts to bridge the material and immaterial aspects of life and provide an explanation for phenomena that are considered mysterious or inexplicable in the traditional sciences. Although his theories are controversial in the scientific community and continue to stimulate debate and research, they have helped to initiate important discussions about the nature of life and consciousness.
Sheldrake’s work challenges us to think beyond the boundaries of traditional scientific methods and to be open to the possibility that the universe is far more complex and interconnected than we have previously imagined.

By reading this energy field, we can get answers, for example, to the question of the cause of fears and blockages that prevent us from being ourselves. By recognising and releasing these self-doubts, we can achieve freedom and love for ourselves. However, we can also question the field to make decisions and to find creative solutions, concepts or developments. In principle, there are no personal questions that we are not allowed to ask ourselves – but we can ask about third parties. Frequent topics are the harmonisation of relationships and the clarification of health or professional issues. There are no spatial restrictions.
